Hi
and thank you for your interest in FITness FUNatics! My
name is Molly Carroll and I have been fitness coaching
for over 10 years and I’m the owner of FITness FUNatics,
LLC. I am certified in fitness training through the
National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and
International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).
As far back as I can remember, fitness and fun have been
synonymous. Growing up as a recreational and club
athlete in the sports of swimming and tennis, I kept a
very active and healthy lifestyle. When I was a teen in
the late seventies, weight training became part of my
regimen and I found that not only did resistance
training tone and shape my physique; it also made me a
better athlete. Throughout my twenties, I continued with
my daily regimen of resistance training and swim
practices, maintaining a healthy and strong body. Now,
twenty years later, I continue to focus on a regular
fitness regimen. Why? Because after gaining 65+ lbs with
each of my (2) pregnancies and then carrying an
additional 50+ lbs for 6 years after my second child was
born, I began to understand and appreciate how it feels
physically & mentally not to be fit. By “fit”, I don’t
mean what the scale tells me based on a chart in the
doctor’s office! I mean what is the right body
composition for my body type, so I can be at a healthy
weight and feel good about how I look in the mirror. In
addition to being “fit”, it is important that I manage
the back pain I deal with regularly. Maintaining a
strong muscular structure is imperative to supporting my
back.
It is important you know who I am because when you come
to me as a client, you will tell me all about yourself.
We will address your individual goals, aspirations,
experiences and fitness level. Regardless of where you
are at with your fitness level, you will be able to
participate in a personal or group program.

To
all those who fear a "boot camp" will kick their butt, I
assure you that I am not a drill sergeant! Instead I
strive to motivate, encourage and occasionally,
good-naturedly kid each camper into going beyond his or
her expectations. I am the same way when working with
clients on a personal basis. I strive to have a FUN time
with my FITness programs, yet challenge my clients!
Regardless of whether you are seeking a personal
training program or a boot camp class, we will work
together and succeed as a team - a concept proven to be
more successful than doing it alone.
I love my work but I really don't think of it as "work'.
It is a joy to help others achieve their goals of a
healthier lifestyle and often friendships are forged
through a common purpose that can last a lifetime.
Helping others doesn't stop with fitness coaching.
