FIT-FUN Boot Camp offers an
outdoor exercise program which will provide a
challenging and fun experience for men & women of all
fitness levels.
The program also addresses
healthy eating habits throughout the session to keep
campers focused on eating foods which are nutritional
and support their exercise/activity level in order to
reach their goals. This program supports those who want
to make realistic lifestyle changes through exercise and
proper diet.
The program is offered in
5-week sessions and meets twice a week on Monday &
Wednesday evenings at 6:30-7:30PM. Class size is limited
to 20 for insurance that each camper gets the attention
they deserve for a safe & productive workout.

You can sign up for at the beginning of a 5-Week Session
or during the session – make it FIT your schedule! If
signing up for less than 10 classes, select the desired
# of classes in the drop down box on registration form.

Class Structure:
Each class will
vary, increasing intensity the level throughout the 5
weeks for beginning campers and challenging returning
campers to progress further. Although the concept of
functional fitness is stressed throughout, every class
will key in on the elements of cardiovascular, strength,
balance, core and abdominal training. The program varies
and uses, but is not limited to resistance bands,
dumbbells, medicine balls, Lebert Bars and isometric
(body weight) movements. Circuit training is
incorporated for increasing endurance while enhancing
strength. Campers will also perform these exercises on
their mats as well as in obstacles. Campers will also be
challenged in cardiovascular & agility drills. We move
around the park to avoid boredom and have fun!

The class length is a fast
60-70 minutes long! Classes start ON TIME and all
campers are expected to arrive 10 minutes prior to class
start time to set up & be ready so class is not
interrupted.
Note: child care services
are not provided.
Camp Equipment:
Campers are
expected to provide their own dumbbells. It is
recommended to have a set (2 each) of 3lb, 5lb, 8lb &
10lb dumbbells. Some campers will use heavier weights,
which will be provided.
All other equipment is
provided which includes but is not limited to:
resistance bands, medicine balls, Lebert Equalizer Bars,
various cardiovascular & drill related equipment along
with outdoor structures. The equipment is used along
with the park’s structures to ensure for a diverse
exercise program.
What to Wear to Camp:
You should wear
comfortable, season appropriate workout clothing and
athletic shoes; such as a running or cross-training
style sneaker.
What to Bring to Camp:
Your equipment,
Water, Towel, Yoga or Exercise Mat and a FUN attitude!
Class Cancellations:
Class will be
cancelled if less than 5 people have signed up and
cancellation will be determined within 48 hours of class
start time. Should this occur, you will be notified and
your payment will be refunded.
Class will be cancelled
if there is inclement weather – You will receive a
text message, email or phone call up to 1 hour prior to
class time. Therefore, check your phone, email or cell
phone at least 60 minutes prior to class for any
cancellation. Sometimes, the weather is spontaneous and
we can’t alert the class within 60 minutes of class
start time. That’s when you will be called! Make sure we
have the best number to reach you at otherwise you may
arrive and be the only one at the park.
Class Absence:
It is expected
campers will be at each and every class in the session.
It is understood that situations arise in life and
flexibility is given to assist campers with their
schedule. However, campers are only allowed up to 2
classes to miss/make-up and will lose any other classes
after 2 have been missed.
Camp Location
Class will always meet at Tumbleweed Park, located in
Chandler AZ. The cross roads are McQueen and Germann,
just a ¼ mile south of the 202 Freeway (map).
Tumbleweed Park is a
beautiful park which has much to offer not only outside
in the park but inside the Tumbleweed Recreational
Facility (TRC). TRC opened in May 2008 and has grown in
popularity because it suits the needs of all ages. TRC
offers monthly & annual memberships or you can just drop
in and pay as you go. There is 62,000 square footage of
state of the art fitness equipment, an indoor track, 2
racquetball courts, 2 group exercise studios and 2
enormous basketball courts. TRC also offers child care!
